Intellectual property are the basis for enterprises to promote independent innovation and enhance core competitiveness, also can effectively protect innovation achievements and economic interests while promoting technological advantages into product advantages and market advantages. For enterprises, intellectual property plays an irreplaceable role in supporting healthy development, maintaining innovation vitality and improving the level of market competition.

On October 31, 2023, KYS successfully held the patent award selection event to commend employees who have made outstanding contributions to patent authorization and patent application in recent years. Robbia Li, Chairman and CEO of KYS, noted that in recent years, KYS has made good performance in the application of invention patents and utility model patents, and employees have actively participated in patent applications, forming the corporate atmosphere that attaches importance to intellectual property rights and protects intellectual property rights. In the future, KYS will continue to focus on customer needs and industrial priorities, strengthen R&D and technology innovation, and promote the continuous transformation of intellectual property achievements.

Technology-based

KYS insists on building core competitiveness with technological innovation. We continue to make efforts in the basic work, creation quality, application efficiency, protection effect, management ability and other aspects of intellectual property, steadily implement and continuously improve the standardized management of intellectual property rights, and protect technological innovation by encouraging creativity, flexible use, comprehensive protection and system management.

Up to now, KYS has applied for 182 patents, obtained 33 invention patents and 75 utility model patents, and registered 14 trademarks. Our core R&D products are included in the list of new technologies and new products for key promotion and application of Jiangsu Province, the catalog of new technologies and new products of Jiangsu Province, and the catalog of core technology products of Suzhou.

Build Innovation Platforms KYS has built National Postdoctoral Research Station, Enterprise Technology Center, Advanced Wafer-level Chip Packaging Engineering Center, Advanced Semiconductor Packaging and Testing Engineering Tech Center to promote technological research and solve innovation and development problems.

In 2019, KYS obtained the GBT29490 Intellectual Property Management System Certification, and in 2020, KYS was identified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a pilot enterprise for the use of intellectual property rights in industrial enterprises, and the second batch of enterprises in Jiangsu Province passed the performance Evaluation of intellectual property management standards.

Encourage Talent Innovation KYS invests more than 5% of its main business income in R&D every year, and has established a strong R&D team with international wafer-level packaging level, with R&D personnel accounting for more than 30%. KYS formulates and implements the "Intellectual Property Management Regulations", and gives financial rewards to the accepted invention patents, authorized invention patents, and authorized utility model patents, so as to create an innovative atmosphere and stimulate innovation vitality.
